Hepcinat 400 mg tablet of Natco is a generic version of Sovaldi from Gilead. Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir 400 mg) is a prescription medicine used with other antiviral medicines to treat chronic (lasting a long time) hepatitis C genotype 1, 2, 3, and 4 infection in adults. Compared to previous treatments, Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir 400 mg) based regimens provide a higher cure rate, fewer side effects, and a two- to four-fold reduced duration of therapy

Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir 400 mg) mechanism of action involves inhibiting the enzyme which is necessary for the virus multiplication. A complete cure may even be possible using Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir). Chronic hepatitis C is a serious infection of the liver which occurs following an infection with the hepatitis C virus.

Upon reaching the cells of the liver, the virus begins to multiply, which it achieves by means of copying its DNA and RNA. Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir) of Natco is known as a nucleotide polymerase inhibitor, and it works directly on the virus itself.

Dosage and Administration

  • The dosage of Hepcinat (sofosbuvir) of Natco schedule must be individualized by the physician in charge of treatment, and will vary according to the viral genotype that is being treated.
  • The recommended daily dose of Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir 400 mg) is 400mg tablet to be taken once daily with or without food. Hepcinat (Sofosbuvir 400 mg) should be used in combination with Ribavirin or in combination with Pegylated Interferon and Ribavirin for the treatment of CHC (Chronic Hepatitis C) in adults.
